Kelly’s 10-plus years of public school experience training and mentoring speech-language pathologists (SLP) in Nebraska guides her collaborative treatment approach focusing on patients’ quality of life through the lens of oral care and treatments. She also provides continuing education support to SLPs.
Kelly holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Certification of Orofacial Myology (COM®) through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). She is trained to evaluate and treat Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders as well as tethered oral tissue (TOT).
She continues to work with public school children to improve speech and language disorders. Her passion for helping clients and their families better communicate drives her to remain up-to-date on current evidence-based practices.
